Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resorts has announced special offerings for the holiday season that include festive events, dining experiences and special spa treatments. Here's what the resort has lined up for the season:
Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy a dinner at La Pergola, the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant. Chef Heinz Beck will present a multi-course seafood meal that includes signature dishes such as smoked scallop tartare and red beet shell. A selection of wines from La Pergola’s wine cellar will accompany the dinner as well.
The resort’s other restaurant, L’Uliveto, is also serving a seafood-focused Christmas Eve dinner, accompanied by live music, and offering dishes like risotto and prawns, clams, octopus and scallops.
Also on Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy a selection of cocktail experiences at Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace, including a cognac tasting paired with chocolate pralines.
Christmas Day
On Christmas Day, guests can head back to L’Uliveto for an Italian Christmas Brunch, with traditional brunch items, as well as wine and champagne, roasted chestnuts and music. For the kids, Santa Claus will make an appearance bearing gifts.
A Christmas-themed tea tasting will also be served at Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace, then Chef Heinz will present another Christmas meal that evening.
New Year’s Eve & Day
At Rome Cavalieri, guests can celebrate the New Year with a special gala dinner at La Pergola. The dinner includes a multi-course dinner including duck tortellini with pine needle infusion and procini powder, accompanied by a selection of wines, music and fireworks.
As an alternative, guests can enjoy a New Year’s Eve dinner at Le Belle Art accompanied with fine wines and champagne, and then ring in the New Year with ramequins of cotechino and lentils.
A Lounge Party will be held at Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace, serving up champagne and snacks, sushi and sashimi, and live music until dawn. Terrazza Degli Aranci will host its own New Year's events with champagne, desserts, music and fireworks.
Cavalieri Grand Spa Club
Throughout the holiday season, guests can order an array of seasonal spa treatments. “The Rose Ritual Day” treatment combines a Rose Hydrator and "Inner Strength Soothing Facial" to sooth and restore skin while promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
The "Platinum Wash" treatment includes a head-to-toe "Platinum Rare Facial" treatment by La Prairie that promotes skin health and overall wellbeing, then finishes with a "La Prairie Caviar Luxe Manicure" and hand and forearm massage.
Rome Cavalieri is also offering a “Winter Celebration Package” that includes luxury accommodations, a buffet breakfast for two, a five-course dinner for two at L’Uliveto, and two tickets to the MAXXI museum. Special holiday guestroom and suites rates will also be available, valid from December 21, 2017 to January 7, 2018.
