Rosewood Beijing to Open Summer 2013

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced that Rosewood Beijing will open in the summer of 2013. This will be the first Rosewood property in china, and the company plans to add 10 more properties in Asia in the next five years.

The new 279-room hotel will be located across from the CCTV Tower in the central Chaoyang District. With more landscaped outdoor space than any other luxury Beijing hotel and seven restaurants and lounges, this new addition to the Rosewood group is sure to impress. Also a Rosewood first will be The Pavilion, a residential-style meeting and function space.

Marc Brugger has been appointed managing director of Rosewood Beijing. He is a Swiss native with 20 years of luxury hotel experience.
