Rosewood CordeValle, a golf resort in Northern California, has taken the wraps off its recently remodeled golf course following a comprehensive resurfacing project that began in April. Designed by golf architecture firm Robert Trent Jones II LLC, the resort’s course has received critical acclaim since its opening in 1999, and it has been included in the top 100 golf courses across the United States.
Nestled in the countryside of San Martin, Rosewood CordeValle’s 260-acre, 18-hole championship golf course was designed with nature in mind. The course provides a blend of natural and man-made obstacles, from flowing creeks to sand bunkers and sycamore trees, while also offering golfers panoramic views of the hillsides and Santa Cruz Mountains.
As part of the project, the resort has restored the course’s landscape to reflect its original terrain from 20 years ago. The upgraded course aims to elevate the overall quality of play by introducing a fully re-leveled driving range and tee complexes, a higher-quality turf, completely resurfaced complexes across all 18 greens and sculpted contours that acknowledge the course’s surroundings.
Additionally, Rosewood CordeValle has four exclusive membership options at its Golf Club, giving golf-lovers the opportunity to experience the resort’s newly refreshed course alongside events and amenities. Members have access to Rosewood CordeValle’s Golf Butler team, which provides an enhanced golf experience through personalized touches, such as coordinating small bites on the green, shining golfers’ shoes and comprehensive golf fitness assessments.
