Royal Portfolio Unveils Waterside at Royal Malewane

The Royal Portfolio in South Africa has announced its latest family-friendly addition, Waterside at Royal Malewane.

Waterside, the 12-bedroom lodge, is a contemporary combination of glass, steel and thatch, which maximizes on the view of an expansive waterhole. As with The Lodge, The Farmstead and Africa House at Royal Malewane in the Greater Kruger National Park, the aim at Waterside is to provide visitors with personalized service and game viewing.

Built to be family-friendly, Waterside welcomes children of all ages and accommodates guests in a curated selection of four luxury one-bedroom suites; two one-bedroom Aloe suites; a two-bedroom suite; and Waterside House, a four-bedroom villa. Good to know: Every room has a private deck with a pool and bright interiors with artwork.

There are also single and double spa-treatment rooms and a hammam offering a range of treatments, besides a gym and yoga/meditation room, wine cellar, games room, and a children’s entertainment area.
