Singular Hotels, of Singular Patagonia fame, is readying to launch their second hotel project, this time in an urban environment. As of this month, Singular Santiago will be opening in the Lastarria district of Chile’s capital.

The family-owned and -operated hotel invested almost $20 million in the 70,000-square-foot city center hotel. Local architect Federico Prieto led the design of the project. The hotel has a 3,000-square-foot spa and fitness facility, a fine-dining restaurant, 24-hour room service, as well as a casual bar. The property will also have a rooftop outdoor pool, Sky Rooftop Lounge and four meeting rooms.

French-style restaurant led by chefs Laurent Pasqualatto and Alvaro Romero will focus on “high gastronomy” using French techniques to jazz up Chilean dishes.
