The St. Regis San Francisco Debuts Private Sailing Experience

The St. Regis San Francisco has announced its newest bookable experience, “Set Sail Aboard USA 76.” The new package is being offered in partnership with ACsailingSF, and guests at The St. Regis San Francisco will have the opportunity to participate in sailing an international America’s Cup Class yacht, the USA 76.

Guests will join the crew aboard for an adventure as they help with the “hoist,” take turns as a “grinder,” and be the skipper of their own America’s Cup team as they take the helm of USA 76. Once under the main span of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, guests will toast the occasion with a glass of bubbly and enjoy views of the city skyline and famous landmarks while sailing the bay aboard the racing yacht.

The “Set Sail Aboard USA 76” experience includes:

  • A welcome amenity
  • Breakfast at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Astra, or in-room private dining prior to departure
  • Transportation to Pier 39, where the sail starts and finishes
  • Two-and-a-half-hour sail experience on USA 76
  • Two bottles of Champagne Lallier Blanc de Blancs; one to celebrate the occasion on the yacht and an additional bottle for an in-room post-sail celebration.

The “Set Sail Aboard USA 76” package can be booked online or by calling 415-284-4009. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.

The St. Regis San Francisco opened in November 2005 in a 40-story landmark building. There are 260 rooms in addition to 102 private branded residences. In addition, the hotel is located with the same complex as the Museum of the African Diasporal (MoAD) and is adjacent to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), making it ideal destination for art aficionados.
