Taj Corbett Resort & Spa, Uttarakhand is reopening after a complete renovation and rebranding from a Gateway hotel to a Taj Brand Hotel. Set on the banks of the river Kosi, at the foothills of the Himalayas, the newly reopened luxury hotel has been designed for the modern traveler looking for a break in the wild.

Ideal for travelers visiting the Jim Corbett National Park—one of the most popular national parks in India for tiger safaris—Taj Corbett Resort & Spa has 61 cottages and suites, surrounded by a lush, forest backdrop. Adventurous escapades in the jungle have been redesigned with a Kumaoni touch; guests can experience a walk to the the Kumaoni village, campfire programming around "Survival in the Wild" or experience a Himalayan mountain drive.

Taj Corbett Resort & Spa says there is something for every type of traveler, including families. Explore Taj Kids is a kid’s program based on adventure, discovery and questing, all the while learning about the nature. At the JIVA spa on site, Taj offer an experience with treatments that are derived from ancient Indian Ayurvedic practices. Travelers can sample the cuisine of the Kumaon Region and dine at the newly renovated Tusker Bar, Jim's Grill, or head at the multi-cuisine Treetop Restaurant. They could also have High Tea at Ghural Deck after a big day out in the wilderness.
