Meghauli Serai Safari Lodge, located in the heart of Nepal’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Chitwan National Park, has been named one of the most exciting new openings of the past year by Travel + Leisure.
Its 13 guestrooms offer elevated views from the banks of the Rapti River, over the jungle, while the 16 villas and plush Rapti Mahal presidential suite all have their own private plunge pools. Meghauli Serai has incorporated local color schemes and natural elements into its design; this includes its Newari- and Tharu-inspired front doors and earthy tones that reflect the landscape. In the dining venues, guests can enjoy locally sourced ingredients.
