Tivoli Lagos Algarve Hotel Reopens After Five-Month Renovation

Following a €4.6 million (approximately $5.3 million), five-month renovation, Tivoli Lagos Algarve Hotel in Portugal has reopened. Portuguese interior designer Sofia Sardo led the redesign, mixing modern Algarvian style with a traditional Moorish look.

Over the course of the refurbishment project, the hotel redecorated its 205 guestrooms and suites. Spread across seven buildings, the rooms now feature seaside motifs and soft colors. Tip: The Family Rooms have queen or twin beds, an optional sofa bed, and separate living area.

The Tivoli Lagos now provides four restaurants and a bar. Restaurant Lacóbriga serves authentic delicacies from around the Algarve, while iconic Páteo Velho offers guests traditional Algarve grilling and Portuguese wines. Aroma Bar & Lounge, situated in the heart of the hotel, is the spot to enjoy a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. New to the hotel is La Terrazza, which offers handmade pizzas, pastas and more.

The hotel also enhanced its leisure and wellness services, with poolside massages and a sauna on offer. The Tivoli team are on hand to organize water sports equipment rentals, golf course starting times and more "Tivoli Experiences" for its guests.

Located in the Algarve region of southern Portugal, the Tivoli Lagos offers easy beach access. Just two-plus miles away, guests can visit the Tivoli Lagos-owned Duna Beach Club. Located on Lagos’ largest beach, Meia Praia, the property provides beach dining and terraces for guests to relax at.
