If you've been waiting out the renovation dust at Windjammer Landing, good news: The wait is over. The Leading Hotels of the World member near Castries, St. Lucia, has wrapped a $40 million, resort-wide transformation just in time for Caribbean booking season — and it's showing up with serious new glam.
That new pièce de résistance is La Belle Hélène, a 10-bedroom private estate set between the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea. A onetime royal retreat, the villa stretches across more than 13,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor living, with three private bungalows, a lagoon-style pool, dedicated culinary and butler service, and full run of Windjammer Landing's resort amenities. This is where you'll want to book those milestone birthdays, executive retreats, wellness escapes, and weddings where the guest list fits around one very long dinner table. The addition also makes Windjammer Landing the first hospitality brand in St. Lucia with ultra-luxury villas on both the Pitons and the island's northwest coast, so you can offer two very different St. Lucia experiences without changing brands.
Back at the mothership, the renovation touches nearly every corner of the 65-acre beachfront resort. The arrival experience and open-air lobby have been completely reimagined, while guest rooms, suites, hillside villas, and residences all sport contemporary interiors and upgraded finishes. A new Manor Collection gathers the extensively redesigned estate villas, including a fully reimagined Presidential Villa, with personalized Butler Service now standard for Manor Collection and Ocean Point guests.
The resort's signature restaurants — Upper Deck, Dragonfly, Jammers, and Embers — have all been refreshed, and two newcomers join the lineup: The Perch, a rooftop lounge, and Masala, a fine-dining Indian restaurant. The main and children's pools have been spruced up as well, along with new beach and poolside furnishings, expanded Beach Club offerings, and upgraded recreational and wellness amenities.
To celebrate, the resort has rolled out its Stay & Play in Saint Lucia package: Book a minimum five-night stay and receive up to 35 percent savings plus a $150 Island Adventure credit, good toward catamaran cruises, rainforest and waterfall excursions, ziplining, or a mud bath at Sulphur Springs.
And for advisors: Windjammer Landing pays 15 percent commission on eligible bookings and backs it up with dedicated sales support, with inventory that runs the gamut from couples and families to celebrations, destination weddings, incentive groups, and villa buyouts.
