Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Announces Collab with Peruvian Chef Diego Muñoz

Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is collaborating with Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz on two pop-up experiences in January 2023. As a result, guests can enjoy dining experiences with special menus that highlight Peruvian cuisine.

After his stints at legendary restaurants Mugaritz and El Bulli, Chef Muñoz went on to run Bilson’s kitchen in Australia, where he was nominated for “Chef of the Year” in 2011. Following his return to Peru, he took the helm of Astrid & Gastón restaurant. Today Chef Muñoz leads his own company, with a collection of projects, each promoting and celebrating Peruvian cuisine and Latin American culture worldwide.

On January 20, 2023, Zadún will offer a Peruvian and Pacific cevichería by Chef Muñoz at Equis. The ocean-to-table experience of Equis will immerse guests in an evening of ocean delicacies, laid-back outdoor atmosphere, sublime mixology and spectacular views. Guests can enjoy a family-style menu showcasing fresh finds from the Sea of Cortés and the nearby Pacific, presented in ceviches crafted by Chef Muñoz and paired with a curated wine list and custom cocktail program.

Cocktail programming will showcase a special Peruvian twist.

Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is set amidst the dunes along the coastline of Puerto Los Cabos, Mexico, with views of the Sea of Cortés. The resort offers a collection of culinary experiences, each designed to offer holistic immersion into the destination, while bringing to life the flavors of Mexico and Baja California. Additional opportunities include rejuvenating treatments within the 30,000-square-foot Spa Alkemia, exploring the ecosystems of the destination through Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the environment and more.
