Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has announced that it will be opening a luxury boutique hotel in Manchester, Vermont. The Taconic Hotel, set to reopen this fall, will feature new guestrooms, three private cottages, updated dining rooms and more.
The new hotel will also feature a 110-seat tavern with outdoor seating for 75 guests and will serve traditional Vermont comfort food with a gourmet twist. The Taconic Hotel will also open a new 2,600-square-foot ballroom and an outdoor venue for business events, large parties and weddings. In addition to the new spaces, a boutique selling unique, locally-sourced goods will be located onsite.
Guests can also enjoy the surrounding mountain range during all months of the year. In the winter, guests can ski and snowboard at nearby Bromley and Stratton Mountain Resorts. In the summer, visitors can choose from a variety of outdoor activities that Bennington County offers, including extensive hiking and biking trails, shopping centers and more.
