Six Senses to Expand on Four Continents

In case you missed it, we are just back from a stay at Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi in Thailand (LOVED it!). So you can imagine our delight when we heard that the luxury brand will be expanding its portfolio in the next three years.

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas will add nine new resorts and four spa/wellness clubs across four continents.

First up: Six Senses Mont Blanc, opening in 2015. The resort will have 32 suites in the French Alpine area of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains and will have 180-degree views of Europe's peaks. There will be 280 miles of surrounding ski-in, ski-out runs, as well.

In 2016 Six Senses Wuma will open in Taiwan at the base of Medicine Mountain. The resort will have 50 suites and villas on 50 acres.

Also in 2016, Six Senses Cartagena will mark the group's entry into South America and its first urban hotel project. The 100-room and suite hotel will be incorporated into the restoration of a 17th century monastery. The hotel will have an open-air rooftop bar and rooftop swimming pool with views of the city's cathedral spires. 

Still to come will be Six Senses Ninghai in China. It will have 129 villas. Six Senses Uluwatu will open in Bali with 120 suites, as well. Over in Africa, Six Senses Gammarth will have 67 suites and pool villas plus 31 residences.
