Every year, New York City lights up with visitors who come from all over to experience the warm, festive ambiance of the city during the winter. As an ever-popular choice among upscale hotel establishments, the Mandarin Oriental has prepared for the holidays by assembling three themed packages for guests to enjoy.
In the seasonal shopping spirit, the “Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Windows” package offers participants a peek into the icon Fifth Avenue department store’s festive showcase, along with a two-night stay in a Premier Central Park View Suite, beginning at $4,800. The deal runs from November 17 to December 24, 2014, and features a tour of the Bergdorf Goodman window displays (personally guided by one of this year’s featured designers), the opportunity to shop the “Trim the Tree” holiday installation, and a dinner for two at the BG Restaurant.
During the month of December, families can “Capture the Spirit of the Season” by purchasing the eponymous package, which features art-centered activities that will appeal to guests of all ages. For example, a private two-hour tour of the photography exhibitions at Metropolitan Museum of Art (led by a savvy Art Smart guide), followed by a lesson on perspective, and a highlight of the city’s holiday sights in a chauffeured SUV, are on the agenda. Two-night stays for two adults and two children under the age of 12 begin at $3,100.
Finally, to ring in2015, the Mandarin Oriental has organized a "Celebrate the New Year" package for those checking into suites and guestrooms on December 30 or 31, 2014. Festivities begin on New Years’ Eve, with the hotel’s annual Gala, held on the 36th floor in the Mandarin Ballroom. Here, elegantly dressed guests are invited to an open bar cocktail hour, followed by a multi-course dinner and dancing to the sounds of a live band. A two-night stay for two along with daily breakfast is included with the foregoing beginning at $6,200.
Additional nights can be purchased at the Best Availabe Rate for any of Holiday Packages.
