Mandarin Oriental to Open Another Beijing Property in 2017

WF CENTRALMandarin Oriental Hotel Group just announced that it will manage another luxury property in the Wangfujing district of Beijing, which is set to open in 2017. 

Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing will be located in WF CENTRAL, a new mixed use center currently being developed by Wangfu Central Real Estate Development Company Limited, an affiliate of Hongkong Land.

The hotel, designed by renowned architect Kohn Pedersen Fox, will be set on the top two floors of WF CENTRAL and have 74 guestrooms and suites. Accommodations will include "customer-centric in-room entertainment systems", garden terraces for socializing, and elegantly-styled décor. Guests will have views of several famous landmarks of the capital city.  

Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing will also have two new restaurants, both connected to a rooftop garden, and a separate bar will offer guests access to a private courtyard. Other facilities will include the signature Spa at Mandarin Oriental, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

Located atop WF CENTRAL, the hotel is within easy reach of international retail, dining, and Beijing’s major tourist attractions. Guests will be able to walk to both the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. 

Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing will be the Group’s second hotel to open in the city.
