Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve has added a new menu of treatments at Spa Botanico, the resort’s spa. Guests will be happy to hear that the body scrubs and blends are created in the spa’s own kitchen. We suggest asking for a mixture that uses local ingredients, including coffee, bay leaves and lemongrass.
The new menu will take place entirely outdoors in a private pineapple garden. The Coffee & Clove treatments leaves skin feeling soft and refined, while the Sweet Lime & Lemongrass scrub calms the nervous system. Note: The lemongrass also relieves pain in muscles and joints. Other treatments include the Tobacco & Nutmeg as well as the Spiced Bay & Coconut. Tip: The Spiced Bay & Coconut treatment uses the healing properties of the bay leaves.
After one of these treatments, guests should experience the warm and cold plunge pools, the outdoor showers and the free-standing steam room.
