New York Buzz: MoMA Extends Hours for Matisse Exhibit

MoMaGood news for art fans in New York today: The Museum of Modern Art has extended its popular Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs exhibit for two more days through Tuesday, February 10. Even better, MoMA will offer extended hours during these last weeks of the exhibition, so guests can make the most of their time in the museum. On the weekends of January 17–18 and January 24–25, the entire Museum will remain open until 8 p.m.

For the exhibition's final weekend, the Museum will keep Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs open continuously from 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 6, through 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 8.

MoMaThis is a great opportunity for those who want to join the 500,000 who have already seen the exhibit—and once it's gone, the chance to nab those bragging rights disappears.

Timed tickets are required for the exhibit and advance purchase is highly recommended. Tickets are available through Showclix.com at MoMA.org/matissetix. Good to know: A limited number of general admission tickets for same-day sales will be reserved for sale onsite, available on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.
