New York's Eataly Hosts Weekend Cooking Festival

Anyone in New York who loves Italian food (and who doesn't?) will want to come to the fourth annual Identita New York, a three-day series of cooking demonstrations and swank dinners in early October at Eataly. The series brings both American and Italian chefs together to show off their skills…and attendees get to sample the creations. (Win/win, we say!)

According to city website Gothamist, Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud and Sara Jenkins will be among the chefs representing the States, and Massimo Bottura, Mauro Uliassi and Davide Scabin will represent Italy. Demos will focus on specific food items like tomato and cheese (we hear Chefs Batali and Scabin will present a demo around pasta, while chefs Boulud and Bottura will focus on eggs). Best of all: Wine is included in each pairing. Samples not enough? There will also be two six-course dinner parties on Friday and Saturday nights, and they sound amazing.
