COMO Hotels and Resorts Names Elisa Chacon as Senior Global Director of Sales, Americas

 

COMO Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Elisa Chacon to the role of senior global director of sales for the Americas. Based in New York, Chacon will manage both east and west coast global sales offices and be responsible for forging relationships with luxury consortia, wholesale and high-end travel agencies. 

Chacon has more than 12 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry and was most recently the regional director of sales for Jumby Bay Island Resort under the Oetker Collection. Prior to that, she was area director of leisure sales for 1 Hotels New York and director of global sales-luxury for Hyatt Hotels Corporation where she was working closely with the luxury travel agency community. 

Chacon holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business Administration from St. John’s University, while her professional achievements led her to be selected as a member of Tzell Travel Group’s Supplier Innovation Advisory Board in 2019.
