AYANA Resort and Spa Bali has appointed Vineet Mahajan ([email protected]) as director of sales and marketing. Mahajan will also be part of the pre-opening team for a separately branded resort scheduled to open in late 2013 adjacent to AYANA. Mahajan has more than 16 years’ experience in the hospitality, telecom and investment banking industries. He comes to the role having worked as the complex director of sales and marketing for Westin Gurgaon and Westin Sohna Resorts and Spa.
One&Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island, The Bahamas has named John Conway ([email protected]) as its new general manager. In his new role, Conway will be responsible for the overall operations of the resort. A 30-year hospitality veteran, he previously worked as senior vice president and general manager of The Cove Atlantis.
Frédéric Picard ([email protected]) has taken the role as the general manager of L’Apogée Courchevel, a new resort in the French Alps. He comes to the role from Palais Namaskar where he also served as the general manager.
