L’Auberge de Sedona Unveils $25 Million Renovation

Vista Cottage

Situated on the banks of Oak Creek, surrounded by towering red rock formations, L’Auberge de Sedona has a sublime setting in Arizona’s Red Rock country. And now with the completion of a $25 million refurbishment project, the luxury inn showcases this natural scenery in the best possible light. Spread across 11 landscaped acres, the 87 guest rooms and cottages were redesigned with wood furnishings, eco-friendly fabrics in natural colors, and private balconies or decks for outdoor dining with views. Cottages come with fireplaces, and most have outdoor cedar showers and Jacuzzi tubs. The renovation added 30 new Spa Cottages and Vista Cottages and Suites.

Also new to the resort: an indoor/outdoor wine bar facing Oak Creek. The Veranda Bar has a fire pit lounge area as well as a dining terrace. What’s more, the spa was expanded to 5,000 square feet and has four treatment rooms and separate men’s and women’s lounge areas. (Outdoor massage in a cabana, anyone?) Specialty treatments include the Lavender Dreams body treatment, along with Sedona-inspired “energy” healing treatments. Outdoor yoga classes are offered at sunrise.

Last but not least, there’s a new climate-controlled outdoor pool, and pool deck with fabulous views of the Red Rocks.
