The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel has appointed Amy Esnault as director of sales, leisure and business travel.

“I am extremely excited to have Amy joining our team,” said Will Wiest, director of sales. “Her expertise within the sales division, coupled with her past Ritz-Carlton experience will be a valued addition to the resort.”

Ms. Esnault has more than 13 years of experience at the Ritz-Carlton brand. She has served in sales roles for Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Boston.

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel premiered as the first luxury resort along coastal Orange County in August 1984. It has earned AAA Five Diamond status for the 25th year, the longest in California. The property boasts four tennis courts with a full-time teaching professional, two heated swimming pools, two outdoor whirlpools and an oceanfront fitness center. An 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and two miles of beach are adjacent to the hotel.
