Phillies Spring Training tickets went on sale for the 67th season of spring training in Clearwater. The Philadelphia Phillies baseball team is ready to return to their second home. Just as they have for decades, the Phillies will prepare for a playoff run starting in February at their facilities.
The Grapefruit League season begins with a game against the Houston Astros at Bright House Field on February 23. Fans who prefer to enjoy the action from the comfort of a barstool can visit one of Clearwater’s Philly-friendly sports bars and restaurants, including Lenny’s Restaurant. Before or after game time, Clearwater offers an array of activities including biking and walking trails, beach volleyball courts, boating, and water sports.
Bright House Field has hosted the Phillies and the minor-league Clearwater Threshers since its completion in 2004, with room for more than 8,000 fans. The field is also home to Frenchy’s Tiki Hut Pavilion, a grass seating berm, group picnic areas, party suites, club seats, a children’s play area, and a team store.
