The Plaza Announces Holiday Offerings

The Plaza, a hotel located in the heart of Manhattan at Fifth Avenue and Central Park South, has announced that it is celebrating the holiday season with activities and events “sure to delight guests young and old”. This will be helmed by the opening of the venue’s symbol, Eloise, of her own Eloise Rawther Sweet Shop. The shop will be located across from Eloise at The Plaza; it will feature an old-fashioned cart that will serve freshly popped popcorn and candies.

From the North Pole, The Plaza Santa will make his debut appearance at The Plaza. This year is particularly special, as the hotel will be one of only two locations in the city where Santa will sit on his perch (or sleigh). Extended hours and daily seating will commence December 10 through Christmas Eve. The Plaza Santa can be found on the Concourse Level in The Plaza Food Hall, across from the Eloise Rawther Sweet Shop.

The Plaza offers guests The Shops at the Plaza, La Palestra, Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa, the flagship Warren-Tricomi Salon and the Eloise Shop. The Palm Court provides a New York experience, and the Grand Ballroom continues to host events. The Plaza is also home to the Champagne Bar, the Rose Club, and The Plaza Food Hall, a 30,000 square foot culinary experience anchored by The Todd English Food Hall. Designated a New York City Landmark in 1969, it is also the only New York City hotel to be designated as a National Historic Landmark. The Plaza is managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
