On the Adriatic Coast, the brand-new Regent Porto Montenegro celebrated its Grand Opening on August 27 with a gala attended by the likes of the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović; Executive Chairman of Regent Hotels & Resorts, Steven Pan; and 650 special guests including residents of Porto Montenegro and VIPs from Europe, North America and Asia.
Steven Pan, executive chairman of Regent Hotels & Resorts led the opening alongside primary visionary Peter Munk. “The story began years ago when our President, Ralf Ohletz met Oliver Corlette, CEO of Porto Montenegro in a development forum and they shared an exciting vision of Montenegro and hotel and residences. More importantly, he presented the vision of Mr. Munk for the entire nation, to create this iconic destination here that would rival the best of Mediterranean if not Europe,” Pan said at the event.
