Eataly is opening their third location, and second in New York, this August.

Eataly Downtown will be located on the Third Floor of World Trade Center Tower 4, and will officially open at noon August 11. Starting the following day, Eataly Downtown will be open daily from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.

The Italian marketplace will boast a number of small cafes, elaborate dining options, bakeries, wines, coffees, and even classes.

Returning restaurants include La Pizza & La Pasta, La Piazza, and Il Pesce. Orto & Mare, a new vegetable and seafood-focused restaurant, will offer Eataly's first extensive breakfast menu.

Other new eateries include:
Osteria della Pace: An elegant restaurant with a focus in southern Italian cuisine.
Juice Bar: Serving up freshly-pressed juices and smoothies.
La Piadina: Grilled flatbreads made with fresh ingredients made in front of the customer.

Le Insalate: Made-to-order salads and more.

At Eataly, they say “we cook what we sell, and we sell what we cook.” For those who wish to bring the flavor of Eataly home, over 10,000 Italian products will be available at several markets including fresh mozzarella, pasta, and gelato.

Upon entering Eataly Downtown, guests will be greeted with an extravagant display of bread – the theme of the location.

“Each location of Eataly is dedicated to a value,” says CEO Nicola Farinetti, who envisioned the concept of Eataly with his brothers and father. “At Eataly Downtown we’ve chosen ‘Bread’ as our theme so we have a platform to break bread and talk about culture in one of the most important and most diverse cities in the world.”

Eataly will be opening locations in Boston this fall and Los Angeles, likely in 2017.
