Classic Vacations announced the relaunch of its online Custom Proposal tool, outfitted with several upgrades meant to facilitate the creation of a client’s “wish list.”
Using the online Custom Proposal tool, Travel Advisors can efficiently create a list of destinations that will cascade into available hotels and accompanying excursions. From this information, the advisor can develop a curated proposal to present to the client. The tool also enables travel advisors to add their own logo and contact information to the proposal and share it with their clients via link, email and social media. These curated proposals can even be downloaded as PDF files, so they can be printed and included with other important travel documents.
With this newest iteration of the Custom Proposal tool, Classic Vacations has added new options and features to the tool’s repertoire. After the relaunch, Travel Advisors can now create Pre & Post Cruise recommendations, Destination Wedding Proposals, Best of Destination Lists, and ready-made sell sheets for common travel requests. The most notable addition to the enhanced tool is the “Custom Item” feature, which enables Travel Advisors to add unique products and content not found on the Classic Vacations website, such as cruise or rail tickets.
Amy Logan, director of online product development at Classic Vacations, said about the new tool: “We originally built the ‘Wanderlist’ tool to encourage our Travel Advisors to share hotel content with their clients, but once we saw how it was being used, we knew we had something bigger…We’ve now changed the name, added the most requested features, and expanded the tool to allow travel advisors to truly deliver Custom Proposals to every client.”
