The Peninsula Hotels will make its debut in Paris in 2014. Nicolas Beliard ([email protected]) has been appointed general manager, effective January 1, 2013. He will oversee the launch of the talked-about hotel. Beliard currently manages The Peninsula Bangkok, and upon his departure, Katja Henke will be promoted to general manager.
Orient-Express Hotels announced the appointment of John M. Scott III as president, CEO and director. Scott previously served as president and CEO of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, where he oversaw a portfolio of 17 ultra-luxury hotels located in seven countries with combined revenues of more than $500 million.
Helen McCabe-Young ([email protected]) has returned to Kerzner International as the executive vice president, sales and marketing, One&Only Resorts. In this role, McCabe-Young is responsible for the strategic development and oversight of Kerzner’s global corporate communications, as well as worldwide sales and marketing for One&Only, including retail and spa business development.
