Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has tapped Allen Smith, currently CEO of Prudential Real Estate Investors, as the new president and CEO of the luxury hotel company. Will this mean new growth for Four Seasons? We hope so. Smith has served as CEO of Prudential since 2008. Under his leadership, PREI expanded its global presence, which now has 23 offices worldwide and $53 billion in real estate assets under management, including many hotels.
Amanresorts opens Amano’i on Vinh Hy Bay on the beach of Vietnam’s East Sea this month. Guests can expect 31 pavilions and five Aman Villas. Cool Arrival: They will enter the resort via a broad bank of stairs leading to the hilltop Central Pavilion, which houses the restaurant, bar and terrace. The Spa will have five double treatment rooms; two hydrotherapy suites; hand and foot therapy rooms; and a hair and finishing salon.
