Signature Expands Hotels & Resorts Program

Signature Travel has announced the next phase of expansion of its hotel and resorts program that will feature over 750 of the world's hotels, resorts, lodges, and spas in 450 unique destinations worldwide at its Annual Sales Meeting in Las Vegas.

"We are very pleased with the progress we have made with our hotel program since our launch seven years ago," stated Ignacio Maza, Signature's executive vice president. "Our collection now brings together world-class properties in 83 countries all over the globe."

Signature reports a number of properties added recently to their preferred program. Among the additions are city hotels such as The Danieli in Venice, Grand Hotel Stockholm, The Hay Adams in Washington DC, The Surrey in New York, and The Saxon in Johannesburg.

For clients seeking activity and adventure, Signature added Gaia Costa Rica resort, EOLO in Argentina's Patagonia, Southern Ocean Lodge Australia, and the Montage resort in Deer Valley, UT among a number of  resorts.

Signature also announced the addition of award-winning resorts, including Aman properties in various destinations, The Breakers in Palm Beach, Soneva Kiri in Thailand, Cap Maison in St. Lucia, and Liku Liku Lagoon resort in Fiji. In total, over 90 new hotels and resorts will join the collection for the 2011-2012 cycle.

All participating hotels offer a minimum of breakfast for two daily and a special Signature amenity, such as lunch/dinner for two once during stay, a round of golf, spa treatments, airport transfers, free internet, resort credits, or other benefit. These exclusive privileges are in addition to late check-out, early check-in, upgrades, as well as preferential rates and availability.

Signature's 2012 Hotel & Resort directory will be released in early December. The new, larger hotel book will be customized for Signature's member agencies with personalized editions and will be mailed to the network's most valued clients.

Signature's hotel program now features over 15,000 pages of proprietary online content, available to front-line consultants and consumers through members' websites. This content includes images of each hotel, a booking engine, detailed room descriptions and photos for each category, Googlemaps, destination information, and hotel facilities, online links to key contacts on property and dining information.
