The Travel Corporation Launches Online Travel Agent Portal

The Travel Corporation (TTC) has launched a new online initiative for its travel partners: My Travel Portal (MTP). The portal aims to give agents a centralized platform to service their clients with duty of care, personalized experiences and up-to-date sharing and networking tools.

MTP’s streamlined offering was designed to save advisors’ time, according to TTC. From having the guests’ emergency contact details on-hand in the event of unforeseen circumstances, to obtaining personal preferences to ensure a trip is tailored to their specific tastes, MTP facilitates assistance with vacation plans in one place; addressing pre-tip, on-trip and post-trip needs.

The portal can also be used as resource for guests wishing to view itineraries on their mobile devices rather than in paper format, share vacation photos on social media, take trip notes in their journal, and chat with their Travel Director and fellow travelers.

Additionally, agents can add client contact details and complete registration within Manage My Booking (MMB), an agent portal found on each brand’s travel agent website. A traveler’s completed registration in MMB or MTP enables more time-efficient border crossings and hotel check-ins, as well as more environmentally friendly processes with e-documentation instead of paper versions being issued, TTC said.

TTC has also partnered with a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation, One Tree Planted, pledging to plant a tree for every guest who opts out of printed travel documents.

For initial launch, the platform encompasses Trafalgar, Contiki and CostSaver. Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, U by Uniworld and Uniworld will follow shortly thereafter this year, and then additional brands from TTC's portfolio will be added to MTP in the future.
