Crystal Cruises has purchased a Boeing Business Jet B777-200LR ahead of the launch of its new brand extension, Crystal Luxury Air. The move raises the new brand's air fleet to two planes, including the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner described in the initial announcement.
The twin-aisle BBJ B777-200LR will be redesigned to accommodate 88 guests with flat-bed first class seats and a lounge and bar. The plane will offer 14- and 28-day around-the-world and international itineraries beginning in 2017.
Trips will include luxury hotel accommodations and dining at Micheline star-level restaurants. Additionally, the aircrafts can be arranged for special charters.
