Heads up, cruise fans! We hear that Le Lyrial, the latest addition to French-flagged Compagnie du Ponant's fleet of yachts, is set to launch in April 2015.
The interior design is courtesy of interior architect Jean-Philippe Nuel, who will work with Veronique Saadé, deputy managing director of Compagnie du Ponant, to create the proper mood.
Top Digs: Deck Six has been set aside to accommodate larger suites—up to 600 square feet for the Owner’s Suite. This means that Le Lyrial will have 122 staterooms and suites compared to the 132 on Le Soléal, L’Austral and Le Boréal.
And eco-conscious travelers will be in luck: Like its sister ships, Le Lyrial will also be a CLEANSHIP with environmentally friendly initiatives.
Le Lyrial will cruise around the Mediterranean for her inaugural season, to Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey (and maybe even beyond) before heading off to the shores of Antarctica.
