Foodies headed to Amsterdam take heed: Head Chef Jacob Jan Boerma, owner of the three Michelin-starred restaurant, ‘De Leest,’ will be launching a new restaurant concept in early 2016 at the newly renovated NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.
The chef will also be responsible for the creation of menus for several gastronomic outlets in the hotel, including the new Grand Café Krasnapolsky, which will open in early 2015.
“In Vaassen we put culinary fundamentals into play and it has taken us to where we are today,” said Boerma. “Without the success of restaurant De Leest this new opportunity would not have presented itself. De Leest has been and will remain the nursery for all of the dishes that I will create for the menu in Amsterdam.”
NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky will be the first Dutch hotel of NH Hotel Group to join the NH Collection brand and become one of the flagship hotels of the chain.
