African Travel, Inc. has launched its 2026 “Concierge Collection” comprising small-group escorted vacations. A dedicated travel director will accompany each group, expertly handling every logistic, complemented by local guides who will provide insights into Africa’s wildlife, history and culture.
For 2026, African Travel, Inc. has unveiled two new journeys which can also be viewed in the new “Concierge Collection” digital brochure. These include the 11-day “Splendors of Southern Africa” itinerary and the 11-day “The Great Migration – An Ultimate Safari.”
The 11-day “Splendors of Southern Africa” itinerary begins in Cape Town. Guests will receive a luxury vehicle transfer to the Cape Grace Hotel located in the V&A Waterfront, where they will stay for four nights. An African Travel, Inc. travel director will meet them in the lobby and every detail will be taken care of. Guests will discover the capital city’s sights on private tours with local guides; highlights include the Cape Peninsula, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and wine tastings in the Winelands. Guests will later embark on a five-day safari into a private Kruger reserve with twice-daily “Big Five” game drives. They will stay at the Sabi Sabi Collection’s new Sandringham Lodge, spanning 11,120 acres, located in the Timbavati area. The lodge has 12 spacious suites and two family units, each with its own plunge pool. To cap off their adventure, guests will take a short flight to Zimbabwe for a two-night stay at the Victoria Falls River Lodge and enjoy a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River to spot hippos and elephants. The next day, a helicopter ride will be arranged for them to witness the Victoria Falls, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the new 11-day “The Great Migration – An Ultimate Safari,” guests will begin their journey for two nights at the luxury boutique hotel, Hemingways Nairobi, and a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to learn about its conservation efforts and orphan elephant rescue. After a quick flight to the Maasai Mara, clients will enjoy a three-night stay at the Elewana River Maasai Mara, situated along the Great Migration route, offering them the opportunity to witness wildebeest and zebra crossings from their private verandah. Guests will be offered a plethora of game viewing activities including an optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise or a visit to a traditional Masai village. They will fly to the Serengeti, home to the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. Guests will enjoy a three-night stay at either the Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp or Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp, providing access to the spectacle. Local guides will take guests to prime locations for wildlife encounters during morning and afternoon game drives. For their final adventure, they will fly to Lake Manyara for a two-night stay at the Elewana The Manor lodge, located near the Ngorongoro Crater. Guests will descend 2,000 feet into the crater, which is home to wildlife with a dense concentration of species including lions and elephants.
With these concierge-led tours, guests can explore Africa while staying in luxurious accommodations. Other perks include air transfers with on-tour flights, exclusive game viewing and sightseeing, most meals and all gratuities. They will also enjoy Platinum Airport Service with departure lounge access. Each journey will have a maximum of 14 guests with personalized support every step of the way.
