Following previous sold-out wildlife-focused journeys by private jet, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) is responding to travelers’ demand for nature experiences with a new journey, “Wildlife & Nature: Around the World by Private Jet” (September 2–27, 2024). The itinerary visits nine destinations, including Hawaii, Fiji, Tasmania, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Zambia, Brazil and the Amazon.
“Wildlife & Nature: Around the World by Private Jet” includes encounters with rare and often critically endangered wildlife. Guests can spot wildlife both on land and in the water, from the Komodo dragon and the Sri Lankan leopard, to the abundant species underwater that call Fiji’s coral reefs home. Guests can spot the Tasmanian devil, Amazon’s pink dolphin and search for the Big Five in Zambia’s newest national park. Guests will even have the opportunity to hand-feed animals in Tasmania, go behind the scenes at Indonesia’s Komodo National Park and meet the conservation experts at the Hawaiian Monk Seal Conservation center during a private visit.
Guests may personalize their journey with a choice of “Design Your Day” activities, which covers outdoor excursions, cultural encounters and wellness experiences. In Brazil, guests can search for humpback whales along the coast as they perform their annual mating migration, learn to prepare Bahian cuisine with a local chef, make time at a percussion workshop or enjoy a spa treatment.
A professional photographer is on hand throughout to offer tips and guidance. The journey is led by an experienced Tour Director, who oversees the adventure from start to finish, while on the ground, guests explore in smaller parties, each led by a Tour Manager and assisted by resident guides and local wildlife experts. An onboard physician and Luggage Manager will also travel with guests.
Guests will board A&K’s chartered Boeing 757 with 48 first-class, lie-flat seats and a range of amenities including iPads, noise-canceling headphones and an espresso maker.
