Discover Latin America: Private Journeys With A&K

With the start of summer also comes Abercrombie & Kent’s Luxury Tailor Made Latin America brochure, curated by regional travel experts.

This brochure has info regarding popular destinations and hidden gems, such as Bolivia, Colombia and Brazil. As a customizable trip, travelers can speak with A&K consultants about specific locations and activities based on their personal preferences.

Product manager Claudia Worth said in a written release that this new offer by A&K can lead art lovers down a walking tour of Bogotá, Colombia’s independent design stores, traditional galleries and graffiti works addressing current issues, all led by a local artist. Guests can taste Bolivian delicacies on a culinary tour in La Paz, or learn the secrets of northern Patagonia’s distinctive beers on a visit to a local brewery in Bariloche, Worth also said. In Brazil’s capital of Rio de Janeiro, travelers can hop aboard a privately-charted sailboat in Guanabara Bay.

A&K’s Latin American portfolio hosts the brand’s “most-requested routings.” While in Colombia, travelers go on a nine-day journey from Bogotá to Cartagena. While in the nation’s capital, tourists navigate some of Colombia’s salt mine tunnels and discover a singular underground cathedral, while visiting a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the end of the trip in Cartagena.

In Bolivia, travelers visit iconic locations such as Lake Titicaca and the Uyuni Salt Flats over the course of 10 days. They can see pink flamingos in the flesh, explore local markets and learn about the nation’s history during their journey.

Brazil offers travelers a nine-day trip from São Paulo to Iguazu Falls, finally ending up in Rio de Janeiro. The journey exposes travelers to the country’s historic villages and also takes them on an excursion to the famous mining town of Ouro Preto. In the capital, travelers get a behind-the-scenes look at the city’s Carnival culture.

The 10-day trip through Argentina brings travelers through the country’s cultural and natural wonders as they step foot in Buenos Aires and Bariloche, explore the wilderness, witness the views from the Perito Moreno Glacier and once again end up at the Iguazu Falls.

A&K has offices located throughout Latin America, having recently opened up its newest office in Brazil. The brand has been recognized at the World Travel Awards as the World’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator and has been named the Best Tour Operator by Travel Weekly and Global Traveler among other recognitions.

In celebrating the launch of the brand’s Luxury Tailor Made Journeys portfolio, A&K is offering features to several destinations in Latin America when booked by September 30.
