Kensington Debuts Black Book of Ultra-Luxe Insider Experiences

Kensington Tours has launched a collection of VIP insider-style experiences designed around high-profile events. “Black Book by Kensington” debuts with a curated set of exclusive experiences that were previously limited only to a handful of insiders. These include the opportunity to attend a Hollywood VIP after-event known simply as “The Party,” experiencing the world’s greatest car race in Las Vegas from above the pit in a team paddock, and rubbing shoulders with basketball’s biggest stars at the first-ever “Giants of Africa Festival” in Rwanda.

Each of these rare experiences is designed to connect clients with extraordinary moments seamlessly, complete with private jets and helicopters, private villas, yachts and full concierge service, according to clients’ wishes.

The initial launch offers a selection of experiences designed around access to prestigious global events and other experiences. While each includes accommodations at the destination’s top luxury hotels and private transfers–often in a Rolls Royce or Mercedes–what makes these itineraries unique is the access to exclusive moments unavailable to the general public. These include:

  • The Ultimate Oscars Weekend: Guests can be whisked into Hollywood’s most private after-Oscar party on the industry’s biggest night. Insiders call it simply “The Party.” They can walk the red carpet with a celebrity or have an iconic singer-songwriter perform for an intimate group of family and friends in Los Angeles, then attend the award viewing party. There is a wealth of possibilities to choose from–including accommodations at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills or a private villa, and exclusive shopping experiences at boutiques on Rodeo Drive.
  • The Inaugural Formula One Race: From November 16-18, 2023, the Las Vegas Strip will be the center of the racing world, and guests can put themselves at the heart of the action, hidden from the eyes of the general public. They can watch this race from above the team pit, behind the scenes of a team paddock, with exclusive access to its private bars and chefs, besides enjoying luxury suite accommodations at the Cosmopolitan.
  • Giants of Africa and Basketball’s Biggest Stars: The inaugural “Giants of Africa (GOA) Festival” in Kigali, Rwanda in August 2023 is a celebration of GOA’s 20th anniversary and its mission of inspiring youth in Africa. Attendees and participants will include an A-list of players, coaches, celebrities and global leaders. Other opportunities include trekking to the world’s last surviving mountain gorillas, a Botswana safari or going in search of the Big Five in Kenya.
  • Fashion, Cuisine & Cars of London, Paris & Milan: Guests will fly privately to three of Europe’s cities for fashion, art and dining for an exclusive 10-day VIP experience. Besides staying at luxury hotels in each city, along with private dining in well-known restaurants such as Petrus by Gordon Ramsay in London and L’Arpège in Paris, they will savor a private lunch at the Michelin-starred Alfa Romeo Private Car Collection in Milan.
  • The White Desert in Antarctica, via Private Jet: Guests will explore the White Desert via a private expedition (with all carbon offset by accredited projects), besides celebrating chefs and winemakers in a discovery of the best that Cape Town, South Africa has to offer.

Other “Black Book” experiences include a South Pacific escape, with island hopping to exclusive properties on Fiji, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand via private jet, and a three-week private yacht charter to the Dominican Republic that offers the opportunity to explore the bottom of the ocean aboard a submersible with marine scientists.
