On Location Tours, a TV and movie tour company has announced that it is once again offering its popular “On Location Tours Sex and the City Hotspots Tour” as both a public and private sightseeing experience. This bus tour highlights several famous New York City buildings and locations featured in the HBO series “Sex and the City,” all from the comfort of a heated bus this winter.
The tour explores several Manhattan neighborhoods, including Greenwich Village, the Meatpacking District and SoHo, which are all filled with boutiques, department stores and designer shops. The tour guides are local New York City actresses who share facts along with fun trivia questions about the buildings and locations. Each tour guest will also receive a complimentary Magnolia Bakery cupcake; and tour guests over the age of 21 (with proper identification) will have an opportunity to sip discounted cosmos at the famous bar ONieal’s. Guests can also peek inside a sex shop in the West Village.
The “On Location Tours Sex and the City Hotspots Tour” departs near 5th Avenue and 58th Street (exact location given upon purchase) and is for ages 13-plus. Public tours run several times a week, including Fridays and Saturdays at 3 p.m. Private tours are offered daily, and a limo buyout option is available. This can be customized based on pick-up and drop-off location, as well as additional add-ons.
