The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel Hotel and Resort Offers ‘Ultimate Family Beach Vacation’

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel has announced that it is offering a myriad of activities and amenities that inspire the “Ultimate Family Beach Vacation” in Southern California. From beach butlers and surf instructors to ocean front golf and eco-adventures, the resort offers something for everyone in the family.

This year, families will enjoy the resort’s newly enhanced guestrooms. All 396 guestrooms have been refreshed. The new design reflects the sparkle of the Pacific Ocean and creates a sense of warmth and comfort. Outdoor fireplaces are featured on the patios of first floor oceanfront rooms, providing a gathering place where families can hang out.

The resort’s beach butlers offer personalized beach services so guests can enjoy a relaxing day at the beach just below the resort. Their services include setting up beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, offering and assisting with food and beverage service, providing body boards, building sand castles with kids, and providing transportation to and from the beach on the complimentary beach shuttle. Beach butlers are also fully equipped with sun screen and tanning lotion.

 

Dedicated to showcasing Southern California’s natural wonders, the Eco-Adventure Center offers unique excursions that showcase the local surroundings. Everyone can learn about the blue whales that migrate past the resort on a whale watching adventure, discover the native fish and underwater creatures on a snorkel excursion, or experience riding the waves during a body boarding activity. Expert naturalists guide guests on a variety of programs that help them gain insights about the environment while also having fun.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa provides massage, facial and body treatments in a relaxing and tranquil environment. The spa menu features a selection of treatments designed to relax, recharge and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. Wellness classes including yoga and Pilates are offered daily through The Spa.

The resort is also within close proximity to several courses. Guests can enjoy the work of masters on the surrounding golf courses created by renowned designers such as Tom Fazio and Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

For family fun and recreation, the resort features two outdoor swimming pools, two whirlpools, a playground area, basketball court, ping pong, and tennis courts. Throughout the summer, poolside movies are presented every Thursday evening and a selection of children’s movies are available for in room viewing.

 

The resort also offers a selection of dining options, including Raya, a family-friendly dining experience fashioned by Chef Richard Sandoval; enoSTEAK, a boutique steakhouse featuring local organic produce and grass fed meats; and 180blũ, an outdoor oceanfront lounge that features panoramic views of the California coast.

Laguna Beach is located just north of the resort and is home to the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters until the end of August. Just south of the resort is the Dana Point Harbor away where sport fishing, sailing, and other water activities are available. Laguna and Woods Canyons are minutes from the resort and offer hiking trails. There are also a variety of cultural attractions nearby. Additionally, a number of theme parks that are close by include Disneyland, LEGOland, the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld.

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel premiered as the first luxury resort along coastal Orange County in August 1984. Today, the resort is a re-imagined surfside retreat.
