Trek Travel Announces 2020 Tour de France Trips

Trek Travel has just unveiled six new 2020 Tour de France Bike Tours and an exclusive finish line viewing party. As the Official Tour Operator for the tour, Trek Travel will offer behind-the-scenes access to the Trek-Segafredo team, along with VIP race access at key stages throughout the tour. The 107th Edition of the Tour de France will take place from June 27 to July 19, 2020. 

Trek Travel provides access to the race’s best moments in person, including the Grand Depart in Nice, exhilarating climbs of Col de la Madeleine, Col des Aravis, Col des Glières and finishes on the Col de la Loze, La Roche sur Foron and the Paris finale.  

Seven Tour de France experiences include: 

VIP Race and Team Trek-Segafredo Access

Grand Depart Ultimate (June 24 – 29)

Guests will witness the 2020 Tour de France Grand Depart in Nice (the last time the tour passed through Nice was in 1981). They’ll enjoy a reception with the Trek-Segafredo Team, climb the iconic Mont Ventoux and other mountain routes just a few days before the pros (accompanied by an official race escort car) and enjoy photos on the official Tour podium.

Alps to Paris Ultimate (July 14 – 20)

This trip celebrates the final week of the 2020 Tour de France. Guests will bike Col de la Madeline and other historic Tour climbs, enjoy an intimate Q&A session with the Trek-Segafredo Team and a Tour Finale champagne reception and VIP viewing in Paris.

Alpe d’Huez to Paris VIP (July 14 – 20)

These trips celebrate Week 2 or 3 of the 2020 Tour de France. Guests will enjoy VIP access to an open-top bus at the finish of Stages 17 and 18. They will also cycle some of the same mountain routes as the pros and enjoy VIP seating for the Paris Finale.

Special Access

Etape du Tour | Ride Stage 2 of the 2020 Tour

Trek Travel president Tania Burke and Trek Bikes president John Burke will join guests to cycle Stage 2 of the actual Tour de France on a day when the pros rest, traveling a loop of 110 miles from and back to Nice.

Paris Viewing Event (July 19, 2020 Finale in Paris)

Trek Travel's exclusive race viewing of the triumphant finale in Paris. Guests will be perched high atop the Automobile Club de France overlooking the Champs Élysée. They’ll enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne and a buffet of French hors d'oeuvres as they watch the leaders cross the finish line.
