JSX Expands Santa Monica Service With Oakland Nonstop Flights

JSX, the air carrier dedicated to seamless and simplified air travel for all, has announced new non-stop flights between Santa Monica, CA, and Oakland, CA. Seats are now on sale for flights beginning September 14, 2026.

Service will be on JSX’s state-of-the-art ATR 42-600 aircraft, equipped with 30 spacious seats and free Starlink Wi-Fi. The service aims to provide business and leisure travelers with a more convenient regional travel option from Santa Monica Airport.

New JSX Flights between Santa Monica (SMO) and Oakland (OAK)

  • Flights between Santa Monica, CA (SMO) and Oakland, CA (OAK) will commence on September 14, 2026 and will operate up to 3 times per day (2 times per day on Saturday).
  • Introductory fares start at $149 one-way and include at least two checked bags (weight/size restrictions apply), onboard cocktails, and business-class legroom.
  • Customers check in 20-30 minutes before departure from dedicated private terminals in Santa Monica and Oakland, bypassing traditional airport crowds with advanced, frictionless security

The addition of Oakland further expands JSX’s growing network from Santa Monica Airport, offering travelers a uniquely convenient connection between key California markets. By combining the ease of a private terminal experience with the attainability of public charter flying, JSX continues to deliver on its mission to make flying a joyful, simple experience.
