La Compagnie, the all-business-class transatlantic airline, is extending its New York (Newark)–Nice route into the 2026/2027 winter season, marking the first time direct service between the two cities will operate beyond summer months.

The extension reflects growing demand from both American travelers seeking extended French Riviera access and European clients wanting a direct link to New York. The airline will operate twice weekly during the winter season, departing Newark Mondays and Fridays at 8:30 p.m. (EST), and Nice Tuesdays and Fridays at 12 p.m.

"Extending our New York-Nice route into the fall-winter season reflects La Compagnie's growth momentum," Christian Vernet, chairman and CEO of La Compagnie, said in a prepared statement. "It speaks to the rising enthusiasm for this signature route, driven both by the French Riviera's appeal to American travelers and by demand from southern France for a direct link to New York."

The move signals a broader shift in transatlantic positioning. La Compagnie is expanding across its entire network for summer 2026: daily flights on Newark-Paris (Orly), up to six weekly on Newark-Milan, and up to four weekly on Newark-Nice.

Aboard La Compagnie's Airbus A321neo, passengers access 76 fully lie-flat seats, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and refined seasonal menus created with celebrated chefs. The year-round service positions the French Riviera as a viable winter destination for luxury travelers prioritizing comfort and convenience over traditional seasonal travel patterns.
