Virgin Atlantic Opens Clubhouse Lounge at JFK Airport

We hear that Richard Branson opened Virgin Atlantic’s brand new Clubhouse at JFK International Airport last night. Sadly, we didn't get to attend, but we can't wait to check the new space out.

As all Virgin Atlantic flights from JFK depart in the evening, the new lounge has what is described as "a sultry, Uptown" cocktail bar. The entertainment zone has a "red ball" sofa, and while food is available throughout the Clubhouse, the brasserie dining area offers a la carte meals, desserts and fine wine.

JFK has the very first Clubhouse Spa outside of London, with New York hairstylist Bumble & Bumble and a unique spa collaboration with skincare specialists, Dr Hauschka. Once guests are suitably relaxed, person-sized round cavities have been created in the walls, lined with wool and gently lit for a soothing, calming mood.
