Fans of NBC's Smash, that over-the-top Broadway-themed drama, will get another chance to hear some of their favorite songs from the show this winter: Several of the stars will gather at 54 Below, one of New York City's hottest new cabaret venues (in our humble opinion, anyway), to perform songs from the fictional Broadway musical Hit List on December 9 at 9:30 and 11:30 p.m..
Jeremy Jordan (late of Newsies and soon to appear onscreen in The Last Five Years), Krysta Rodriguez (currently appearing in First Date) and Andy Mientus (Carrie, Spring Awakening) will take to the stage at 54 Below to perform songs created for the Broadway-musical-within-the-TV-musical by Drew Gasparini, Joe Iconis, Andrew McMahon, Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, and Lucie Silvas. Bonus: The concerts will include some additional songs from these composers that never made it to air, as well as special appearances by several of the composers and additional performers.
