Two New Packages From Parma Incoming Travel and Perillo's ItalyVacations

Following the release of the 2016 performance line-up for Festival Verdi in Italy, Parma Incoming Travel and Perillo's ItalyVacations have announced they will be offering two new packages in celebration of the annual event.

Verdi Festival
 Teatro Farnese, Italian-Baroque Theater

The festival is held each year in Parma and Busseto, areas where Verdi lived and worked. This year's show will include performances hosted in the Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Busseto and the Teatro Farnese in Parma.

Parma Incoming Travel is offering a three-day ‘Festival Verdi - Opera Tour’ package, valid for travel throughout October 2016. The tour can be continued and customized, with options including a backstage visit to the Festival Theaters (wardrobe, scene painting room, rehearsal spaces, dressing rooms and the stage), a stop at the historical center of Parma or a tour to the Castles of the Duchy. A gala dinner before or after the opera and local culinary experiences can also be arranged.  

Other experiences include: 
- Dinner and optimal seating for two opera performances 
- Visit to Verdi's birth home at Roncole 
- Visit to the Museum in Barezzi’s House 
- Visit to the Busseto Verdi Theater
- Visit to the National Giuseppe Verdi Museum and Renata Tebaldi Museum both housed in the Pallavicino Villa
- Visit to Villa Verdi at Sant’Agata

Perillo's ItalyVacations is also offering the customizable 4 Day Michelin Culinary Experience package. 

Guests will stay at Antica Corte Pallavicina, built by the Pallavicina family during the Renaissance. Experiences with this package include samplings of Culatelli di Zibello and other cured meats produced by the Spigaroli brothers (who now run the farm and restaurant), access to the 14th-century salami cellars below the property, three dinners paired with select wines from Michelin-starred chef Massimo Spigaroli, cooking classes, guided tours of nearby Villa Verdi, Castel d’Arquato and Fontanellato Castle, and visits to producers of Parmigiano Reggiano, Culatello di Zibello and DOC Colli Piacentini wines.

Festival Verdi will take place from October 1- 30, 2016.
