Maybourne Hotel Group Names New Director of Sales and Marketing – The Americas

Maybourne Hotel Group, which manages Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley hotels, has announced the appointment of Nancy Getlan as Director of Sales and Marketing – The Americas, a newly created position. 
Getlan has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, having worked with international hotels and portfolios such as The Peninsula Hotels, Hyatt International Hotels and The Regent Hong Kong.
As Director of Sales and Marketing – The Americas, Nancy will work with the Maybourne Hotel Group’s sales team and further boost Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley profiles in London. 
In her previous positions, Getlan consistently exceeded goals and increased annual revenue. Previously, she served as Director of Global Sales for the Americas and Europe at The Peninsula Hotels, where she formulated and implemented a marketing and sales strategy that targeted corporate travel, exceeding the goal set for her in corporate and transient business sales. Prior to her role with The Peninsula Hotels, Getlan held the position of Regional Director of Sales, Eastern United States, with Hyatt International Hotels, expanding corporate and leisure business through extensive negotiations with top investment banks, Virtuoso, cruise lines and tour operators.
Getlan's prior experiences also include work with The Regent Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific Airways and American Airlines and through these roles she has established strong relationships with key marketing and business contacts throughout the United States and Europe. Nancy’s knowledge of the New York City marketplace and its surrounding areas will be a strong asset as she takes on her new position with Maybourne Hotel Group, directing growth and marketing across the Americas.
