Family Travel Association Teams Up With Signature Travel Network

The Family Travel Association (FTA) has announced its partnership with Signature Travel Network. As a result, members of Signature Travel Network can enjoy several benefits as a result of this partnership. They will have access to the FTA Certification Program where each member can become a “Certified Family Travel Advisor.” Additionally, they can benefit from content sharing, such as FTA webinars, newsletters, family travel tools, resources and education. They will also have access to the annual FTA/NYU survey on family travel.

“FTA has made a concerted effort to establish partnership programs for leading travel organizations and our program with Signature will not just enable their members to become Certified Family Travel Advisors, but also bring a wealth of information to help them better sell family travel,” said Ken Shapiro, FTA board president.

“Signature is delighted about our new partnership as specialization is a core element of our talent development strategy. Family travel is a key market for Signature, and we look forward to our travel advisors leveraging FTA’s tools to grow their family travel sales,” said Gina Weyer, vice president of training, Signature Travel Network.

The FTA is a coalition of hundreds of travel agents, media professionals, travel industry suppliers, tourism boards/CVBs and destination management companies dedicated to helping families discover the possibilities travel affords them. The FTA provides tools, resources, education and certification to travel advisors to increase the quality and experience of family travel.
