Virtuoso has reaffirmed its commitment to Canada by adding two new positions in support of its Canadian travel agency members and partners. Anna Judek has assumed the role of marketing manager and James Allen has been appointed as account manager, member relations.

Both represent the latest in strategic hires for Virtuoso, which appointed Úna O’Leary as the general manager for Canada the previous year. Under O’Leary’s leadership, Judek and Allen will help support Virtuoso’s presence in this critical market, while also serving to enhance the group’s brand awareness and preference among consumers.

Having previously held senior executive positions at Royal Bank of Canada and American Express, Judek joins Virtuoso with a diverse background in marketing, communications and product strategy. Judek’s strategic planning and creative thinking skills will assist her as she champions the Virtuoso brand, while optimizing and overseeing regionally focused marketing products and events.

Prior to Virtuoso, Allen held a senior executive position at Alliance de l’Industrie Touristique du Québec, which equipped him with extensive knowledge of Canada’s tourism industry. Bilingual and with long-standing experience in cultivating business relationships, Allen is looking forward to engaging with Virtuoso member agencies in his new role.

“Our emphasis on the Canadian market continues to grow, and I couldn’t be more pleased to welcome both Anna and James to Virtuoso and my team,” said O’Leary. “Their collective talents bolster this network’s commitment to our members and partners within Canada. We are optimistic about travel’s resurgence in Canada, and by expanding our regional team, we are better prepared to meet consumer demand and achieve success.”

Judek is based in Toronto, while Allen is based in Montreal.
