VWT Launches Client Event Series in Collaboration With Industry Leaders

Valerie Wilson Travel (VWT) kicked off its Fall Client Series last week with an exclusive conversation with Delta Air Lines. The event included Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg, co-president and owner of VWT, as well as Delta Air Lines’ Chuck Imhof, vice president New York and sales, east; Mike Medeiros, vice president of global cleanliness; and Captain Phil Smith. The innovative event connected over 200 VWT clients with the airline officials, who are making decisions that will directly impact their travel experience.

The discussion delved into the steps Delta has taken to ensure traveler safety and how Delta is striving to set industry standards in the “new world of travel.”  

The collaboration with Delta was just one in a series of events that connects clients to industry titans. “We specifically wanted to develop a virtual event that not only keeps our clients inspired and informed, but also works to build back their confidence in travel and deliver them our ‘Power of Access,’” said Wilson-Buttigieg.  

VWT will be hosting its next client-focused event, “A Deep Dive into the Future of Travel with VWT” on Thursday, September 24. Jacqui Gifford, Travel + Leisure editor-in-chief will be joining to moderate the panel, which will be made up of Valerie Ann Wilson, founder, CEO, chairman and owner; Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg and Kimberly Wilson Wetty, co-presidents and owners. On Thursday, October 8, the VWT Client Series will feature Geoffrey Kent, founder and co-chairman of Abercrombie & Kent. Future events include such companies as Silversea and Celebrity Cruises.
